The Space

A room
of its own

The studio is a large matted area, with a wall mirror spreading all the way across the back wall. The wide open space allows for a range of activities to be performed outside of the standard classes. Some people set up their own circuits, boxing training, sparring and much more.

The key to the studio is that it is shapeable to whatever you need it for. The combination of the large amount of free space and equipment already up there, makes it a very unique space at the gym.

Classes Classes run on timetables slots and operate within the studio.
Personal use The studio is open to be used personally for any members
Kit included There is a range of equipment within the studio. Equipment from the downstairs can be moved to the studio. Just make sure it goes back!
Sound The studio comes complete with a sound system and speakers to allow for some extra motivation in the tough sessions

The Studio at Amazon Gym

Tucked at the front of Amazon Gym, The Studio is a dedicated space built for two very different kinds of training: structured classes and open, self-directed sessions. It's become one of the most versatile corners of the gym — as comfortable hosting a full HIIT class as it is a solo boxing session or a quiet stretch before work.

The space is fitted with air conditioning to keep sessions comfortable whatever the season, along with a full sound system and speakers so classes and personal sessions alike get the right energy. Equipment-wise, it's built to support a genuinely broad range of training styles: spin bikes and a fan bike for cardio work, boxing bags and gloves for pad and bag work, kettlebells, barbells and weighted bags for strength and conditioning, and yoga balls alongside an open functional movement area for mobility, core work and bodyweight training. Whether you're in for thirty minutes of interval work on the bikes or an hour of functional strength and stretching, The Studio has the tools to support it.

When The Studio is open for classes

The Studio runs a full weekly class timetable, covering everything from BodySculpt, Circuits and Cardio Core to Spin45, Yogaflow, Functional Hybrid, Upper-body HIIT, Lower-body HIIT, BodyBlast and Box & Burn. Classes are spread across the week, generally split between a mid-morning slot and an evening slot on weekdays, with a single morning class on Saturday and Sunday. It's a timetable designed to give members options early in the day, after work, and at the weekend, without The Studio ever feeling overbooked.

Because of this, The Studio isn't a space you can assume is free at any given moment — during scheduled class times, it's reserved for that class, and members using the gym for their own training should plan around the timetable rather than around the space being permanently open.

Checking availability before you go up

We've made it as easy as possible to check whether The Studio is free. The most obvious clue is right there in the room itself: the front wall is floor-to-ceiling glass, so from the gym floor you can see at a glance whether a class is in session before you walk over. If a class is running, you'll see it clearly through the window; if the space is empty, it's yours to use.

If you'd rather not rely on a visual check, or you're planning your session in advance, there are two simple ways to confirm availability. The class timetable is displayed on site and available to members, showing exactly which sessions are scheduled and when, so you can plan a personal session around it rather than turning up mid-class. Alternatively, our reception team are always happy to confirm whether The Studio is currently in use or coming up for a booked class — just ask on your way in, and they'll point you in the right direction or suggest a better time to come back.

Personal use outside class hours

Outside of the scheduled classes, The Studio is available for members to use as part of their normal gym access — no separate booking required. This is where the room really shows its range: use the spin bikes or fan bike for a self-led cardio session, work the boxing bags with your own gloves or a pair from the studio, build a strength circuit with the kettlebells and barbells, or take advantage of the open floor space for mobility and stretching work with the yoga balls. The air conditioning and sound system mean it functions just as well for solo training as it does for a full class, so it's worth building into your routine even if group sessions aren't your thing.

For members who train around work, family or shift patterns, this flexibility matters. The Studio isn't locked away for classes only — it's a working part of the gym floor for the rest of the week too, and one of the more comfortable, well-equipped spaces to base a session around, whether that's twenty minutes on the bike before work or a longer strength and conditioning session in the evening.

Amazon Gym is based in Shropham, around ten minutes from Attleborough and Watton, making The Studio's mix of spin, boxing, functional training and yoga-based mobility work easy to reach for members across the local area.

When the studio is free to use

Our studio is free throughout the entirety of our opening times. However, the scheduled classes will be prioritised for studio use. You can see our classes timetable in order to plan your visits if studio use is essential.
